What is SDC?
The Skills Development Conference (SDC) is an annual professional conference that seeks to improve the skills of ALTs and JTEs in Nagasaki Prefecture. The aims of this conference are to improve the quality of team teaching and communication between ALTs and JTEs. In Nagasaki Prefecture, SDC is ALT-lead in that a team of ALTs create, organise, and oversee the running of the conference. This year, the theme for the conference is “Connected”. We are hoping that throughout the conference you will find ways to connect and re-connect with other teachers in Nagasaki Prefecture and also with teaching materials and resources.
