The current PAs are Kurt-Albrecht Schroeder and Tyronne Crisfield. Here are their introductions:

ALT PA Kurt-Albrecht

Hi, my name is Kurt-Albrecht and I’m your new (2026) ALT PA! I’m a 3rd year ALT currently located in Sasebo. I was a member of the Working Committee last year and have been a co-host of the LGBTQ+ discussion section for the last two years.

My hobbies are dancing with a local Yosakoi team, sewing and learning about traditional Japanese textiles, and going to see Kabuki theater as much as possible!

In my time as an ALT I have received tremendous support from former PAs as well as the Nagasaki website, which we still have today thanks to the efforts of the ALTs who re-started the Nagasaki AJET branch. I hope to pay that forward and I will work hard to support current and future JETs in the prefecture.

よろしくお願いしまする!

Hello there! My name is Tyronne. I am a brand new CIR and PA (2025), residing in Nagasaki City and working at the Prefectural Office. My hobbies mainly include reading, PC games, and studying/learning. I also like to travel when I have extended time off, and I hope to explore Nagasaki and Kyuushuu this year, and hopefully Okinawa and Hokkaido in the future!

I have two bachelor degrees, one in Information Technology and another in Languages (Japanese Major). I’ve been studying Japanese for over 7 years, and I hope to continue learning and improving for the rest of my life.

I am excited to be able to support my fellow Nagasaki JETs, ALTs and CIRs alike, during my time as CIR. よろしくお願いします!🙇‍♂️
