The Working Committee is a team of eight ALTs across Nagasaki Prefecture (including the 2 PAs) who work together to organize and host the Welcome Orientation for first year ALTs and the Skills Development Conference. As a Working Committee member, your responsibilities will be to:
– Inform your supervisor of your contracting organization that you are applying
– Attend 4 day-long meetings in Nagasaki City during school time (as a business trip, with the approval of your supervisor)
– Attend the Welcome Orientation at the end of August
The dates for these meetings and conferences are not finalized. (At this stage, meetings in July, August, September and October – during school time – seem likely). If you feel that you would have difficulties with attending, we ask you to please describe the details of your circumstances in your application so we can take them into account.
