Above is our wonderful Working Committee (WC) for this year. It’s thanks to them that we have such a fantastic SDC. The PAs would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the WC from the bottom of our hearts. A lot of work goes into organising and running SDC each year, we want to thank you all for your dedication, resourcefulness and hard work in planning and running this conference. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas and solutions that you came up with too! Thank you so much for making SDC great, we couldn’t have done it without you.

Are you interested in applying for the Working Committee?
The WC is a group of six ALTs plus the PAs who work together throughout the year to organise and run the Welcome Orientation and the Skills Development Conference. There are also a few other responsibilities beside these two conferences. If you are interested in becoming a member of the WC in the future, please keep an eye out for the applications. Applications will open around January and will come from the PA email account. Being on the WC is a great way to give something back to the ALT community here in Nagasaki, and it’s also good experience to put on your resume for life after JET!
