This game uses the grammar and vocabulary from the final unit of the Let’s Try 1 textbook (Elementary grade 3). Each person has an Oni card and Oni target. They should keep their Oni card a secret. Students do janken and the winner asks, “Are you [adjective] Oni?” The loser responds, “Yes, I am./No, I’m not.” Then the roles switch. You cannot janken with the same person twice in a row.
